116 How to Know What to Sell to Get Money Fast and Easy
If you’ve been asking yourself “what to sell to get money fast?” — this episode is for you.
The real answer has nothing to do with a $27 product, a six-module course, or jumping on the latest trend. It’s not about what you’re selling. It’s about the energy you’re selling it with.
This week on Live Life Unapologetically, Shannon Kay calls out the truth no one wants to say: your offer isn’t the problem (how you deliver and price your offer is). And once you get that, everything changes.
In this episode, you’ll explore:
- Why your aligned offer matters more than your pricing
- How to tell if your offer is leaking energy
- The role your nervous system plays in receiving money
- How to price in a way that stretches you without shocking you
- Why selling what you can stand behind is more powerful than any strategy
Whether you’re launching a course, selling a digital product, or offering services, this episode will help you shift from “what should I sell?” to “what am I ready to energetically hold?” because that’s where the money flows.

Welcome back to the Live Life Unapologetically podcast. I'm Shannon Kaye and today we're going to talk about making money in your business. If you've ever been wondering what to sell to get money fast, you're not alone. The phrase is everywhere. It's on TikTok, in ads and it's across every six-figure secrets sales page you've ever seen. You have probably heard it all Start with a high-ticket one-to-one offer.
Speaker 1:Sell digital products for passive income. Create a mini course to scale your time. If you have been spiraling trying to figure out what to sell to get that money fast, then this episode is going to give you the real answer. And it's not a $27 product or a magic pricing strategy. It is your energy, because here's what no one wants to say out loud and that's what your offer is not the problem. Your energy is and I know that might sting a little bit and I promise I'm not here to shame you because I don't like to do that. I just need you to hang with me a little bit because once you get this, everything about how you show up, sell and receive money in your business is going to shift.
Speaker 1:Today I want to walk you through why your offer isn't the issue and how to tell if your offer is leaking energy and how alignment not just some magic method is what's actually going to get you paid. So let's start off with talking about alignment, not algorithms and not all that other stuff. Right? Let's talk about the obvious and that's. There's no shortage of business models claiming to help you get rich quickly. The current advice trend goes something like this Start high ticket, one-to-one, move into a course scale with a membership or some sort of digital product, and if that resonates, then beautiful, run with it. But if you've been listening to all the make money fast content and you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck maybe you're even completely turned off by it it's probably because the strategy is not aligned with your energy.
Speaker 1:When people talk about alignment in business, though, it can sound vague as hell, right, like, what do you mean by alignment? An aligned offer isn't just something you enjoy or something that sounds fun. An aligned offer is one that feels clear in your body, rooted in your truth and backed by energy that says this is a match. I'm not begging, I'm not proving. I'm in full belief that this is needed, valuable and right. That kind of energy is what sells. Now I want to be very, very specific with you that aligned doesn't mean soft, it doesn't mean easy, and it doesn't mean to just do what feels good. It means felt, it means your body says yes, your nervous system feels supported, your soul isn't screaming. I fucking hate this.
Speaker 1:If you're trying to force yourself into business models that you resent or cannot stand, then your audience is going to feel that too. It doesn't matter how smart the strategy is if the energy behind it is disconnected, resentful or anxious. So yeah, technically you can sell anything to make money fast, but if it's not anchored in your energy, it will not last or worse, it will land, but you'll be too burnt out to receive it. I've been there, done that. It's not fun. So if you're constantly asking yourself, what do I need to sell, what do I need to create to get this money fast in my business, you're asking the wrong question. Instead, ask yourself what offer can I stand behind with full body belief and energetic alignment? That's what moves the money. Let's really think about this, because I'm sure you've seen creators making 50k from mini offers or people promoting make 10k with your first PDF.
Speaker 1:But just because it worked for them doesn't mean it's right for you, and that's where so many of us women get lost in business. It's we're comparing ourselves to someone else's blueprint and then we're wondering why our businesses feel like a grind. The problem is not your content. The problem is not your pricing. The problem is your energetic mismatch between what you're selling and what your body, heart and nervous system can currently hold. If your body is screaming no, it doesn't matter how magnificent that funnel you made is, because you cannot fake frequency. This is why some women thrive and high ticket from day one, because they do, but for others it feels like they're going to vomit every time they say the price. This is why someone can successfully launch a course, but then they immediately shut down. This is why selling can feel either like flow or force.
Speaker 1:Let's talk about what it means when your offer isn't landing, not because it's a bad offer, but because the energy around it is a little bit messy. Here are some signs that you can look for. Maybe you're feeling anxious every time you go to promote it. Perhaps you rewrite the sales page 10 times but still don't want to post it. Maybe you're questioning your niche every other week. Are you holding back from selling it all together because it's not perfect yet? Are you marketing it out of obligation and not inspiration.
Speaker 1:I did this when I first started and I would call my best friend and have everything set up. Everything was perfect. It was ready to launch. It was so good to go and what I was offering was good. It was freaking amazing, like the shit just hit. For like the beta testers that I had, they were like this is so valuable.
Speaker 1:But anytime it was time to launch it out and put it out into the world, I would just be like I don't want to do this, I wanna quit. I hate this, I don't like this, I just quit. I'm just gonna do the nine to five thing. I don't wanna do this business thing. My best friend would be like why do you always do this? And part of it was just, you know, being scared of rejection that this amazing thing that I had put my energy behind wasn't going to make it. But also it was the idea of the upkeep of work I had to do with it and the type of offer it was wasn't really what I wanted to do. Like I was doing things because I thought I had to.
Speaker 1:That's really back at the time where, like, offering big bonuses was a thing with your courses and stuff, where it was like I have to offer this extra masterclass, I have to offer the Facebook group, I have to offer weekly calls, like all of this stuff and some of those things I wanted to do. I'm going to tell you what the big one was. For me, it was the Facebook group. I didn't want to include a bonus of a Facebook group, but that was like the thing. Like way back when, that was the thing Like if you didn't have a Facebook group for people to go in to ask questions and build this community and yada, yada, yada. I did not want to do it and that was an energetic block, that was an energy leak, a big energy leak. So I would always go back to the drawing board. I could have made so much money with those things. I just didn't want to. It just didn't feel like it was going to pay off in the end because I didn't want to do what came after.
Speaker 1:And maybe you feel like that about some of the things that you're creating. Maybe it's really good, but the format of delivery is what is the problem, and that does not mean that your business sucks. It doesn't mean that you suck. It just means that your energy isn't in alignment with what you're offering. So you're either trying to convince yourself or your audience of something that you don't believe in. So we need to reframe this.
Speaker 1:Alignment doesn't mean that you're 100% fearless Like. I want to make that very clear. Alignment does not mean you're 100% fearless and completely confident, because anytime you do something new, there's going to be a little bit of uneasiness or fear along with it, because it's just unknown. No big deal, it's just unknown and that's fine. We're always a little scared of what's unknown. Our brain resonates with that which is known, so there's going to be some fear. You're not going to feel 100% like woohoo, like that's not it.
Speaker 1:Alignment doesn't mean that you're glowing with confidence or you're channeling divine downloads 24-7. Alignment simply means that your offer feels true. It feels like something you can stand behind, even on the hard days, like for me, I didn't feel like I could stand behind those Facebook groups that I felt like I had to offer as a free bonus on hard days. But if I remove them, heck yeah, I could. Alignment means you're going to show up for it because it is honest and it is rooted in something real for you. It's not about trying to prove your worth or doing it the way everybody else is doing it.
Speaker 1:And alignment sells because it's magnetic. When your energy is clean, people feel it. They're not just buying this result in the transformation, they are buying that, but they're buying this connection that they have with you as well. And all of this takes me really to pricing, because maybe you do have an aligned offer but you were told that you know, because of pricing you need to price it this way, like these things cost this much money. I've seen a lot of videos like if your course has this many modules, it should be this much. If it has this many, it should be this much. Like X, y, z. And it's good to kind of have guides, but we have to remember that pricing is also a huge part of energetic alignment. So a big current trend right now is that you should start with a high ticket offer to hit income goals fast, and there is truth in that logic. You get paid more with fewer sales.
Speaker 1:But that advice does leave something out and you have to have a nervous system that has the capacity to hold that level of receiving. If you're charging $3,000, but you feel like you're going to crumble every time you say it, that carries energy and your audience feels it. They hesitate because you're hesitating. So we have to think about not only how am I delivering the product and the energy behind the delivery, but also how can my nervous system handle the price behind the delivery. How do you even decide your pricing? And you can use things as guides, like I'm not saying don't use them as guides, but you need to price it where it feels like a stretch and not a shock. You have to open yourself up to actually receive it.
Speaker 1:And this is where I think a lot of advice goes wrong, because they'll say well, if you offer you know, one-to-one coaching for three months for $800, people are going to think that that's cheap, it's not valuable, they're not going to buy. When people see big price tags, that's when they buy, because they're like it must have value. It has a big price tag and I'm going to be honest with you. Your offer could have a $3,000 value. It really could. I believe it does. I believe it does. I do believe that we do underprice ourself. But if you have never been in business or you're just now selling something for the first time, telling people to buy it for $3,000 may just make your nervous system shut down to where you can't have the capacity to receive it. So maybe you do have to start it at $800 and build your way up to the $3,000. Maybe you know you'll get there. But maybe you need to train your nervous system that I can accept this $800 and I can receive it. That's a stretch, but it's not shocking your system. So yeah, you can sell high tickets, you can make bold offers, but don't bypass your nervous system in the process.
Speaker 1:I remember when I released my first book I priced it at $7.99. It was $7.99 because that's literally all I had the capacity. And when I say $7.99, I mean $7.99. That's all the capacity I felt I could handle with my book. Like, I felt good receiving $7.99 for the book that I wrote. I knew I didn't want to leave the price there, but that's the only capacity that I had at the time. The price has since gone up. I think it's at $17.99 right now or something like that. But in the beginning I wouldn't have thought anybody would pay more than $10 for it. It sold like hotcakes at $7.99. Then I bumped it to $9.99. Like, I continually raised the price because I know the value of my work and my book. It's called Action Before Affirmations. I'll link it in the bio if you're interested in getting it.
Speaker 1:But I knew I needed to build the capacity to receive because it was something I never did before. So I stretched myself and then I kept hearing people who bought my book reach out to me and say why was this only $7.99? Girl, I would be charging $29 for this. And sometimes we need a little bit of feedback to grow. And I got feedback from sales. And I got feedback and I said, yeah, but I want it to be accessible. Like one of my things was, I wanted to have accessibility and I wanted to have accessibility, so I did keep it at a certain price. But what I'm telling you is you can start that way to build capacity. It does not mean you're devaluing yourself, like you can say I know eventually this is going to be $29. Or, for instance, let me give you another example of what I'm doing right now.
Speaker 1:I have the Manifest Momentum Ritual and I use that with clients, everybody I work with. I use it with myself. I've been using it for years. It is the number one ritual that I will swear by hands down. If I never sold anything else again, I want to sell this because it works to build your business, to build your income, to build your capacity. It touches on all parts of manifesting. It touches on your thoughts, your emotions and your actions in like five minutes or less a day. You don't even have to worry about, you know, spending hours a day doing this Like it's an extra thing, but it's not because it builds. Right now it's $17.
Speaker 1:I know that price is going to go up, but this is the first time I've sold an actual manifestation ritual and I was like I'm just going to stretch myself a little bit, like I use it in my one-on-one. I don't know what the issue is, but I had to respect my own nervous system. But I always knew the price was going to go up and I am going to add to it in the future. But I know that the price is going up. It's only going to be $17 for so long. I feel very comfortable with that already. So it's probably going to change as soon as my son graduates and I have time to go back on the back end and do all that stuff. I'm not in a hurry to do that. If you haven't got it, I'm linking that in the notes as well today so you can grab it before the price goes up, because it will be going up right after he graduates in the next couple of weeks, like I said, when I can do the back end work to get it restructured.
Speaker 1:For that I say all that to say start with where it feels good. Start with where it feels good, stretch yourself, but don't shock yourself when it comes to pricing. So not only are we putting together offers that feel good in the way we want to deliver them right. So for me, like I didn't want to deliver that Facebook group, it didn't feel aligned, regardless the price, the quantity, everything else I felt so good about. But it was those bonuses, like all these different bonuses, that were just the thing of the time that made me say I'm not launching. I went to complete shutdown mode.
Speaker 1:Once I figured that out, it was so much easier. Just don't do that. I know they say that's what we're supposed to do, but don't do it because it was leaking energy for me. So now you know how you want to deliver your stuff and you know how you want to price it, based on what your nervous system has the capacity for. Those are the two things we're talking about alignment and energy. That make all the difference if you want to make some money fast in your business. Because if you don't address those two things, then the money may come, but come with burnout because I've had that happen before, or it's not going to come at all because you're going to shut down. You're not going to do it, you're going to be hesitant. It's not really going to sell that great anyway.
Speaker 1:So I want to reframe the question that brought you here.
Speaker 1:Instead of asking what to sell to get money fast, ask what can I confidently offer that I can energetically hold, market with joy and sell without self-abandoning. Because when you sell from that place, the content flows, the audience responds, the energy builds, the money moves. You can sell a high-ticket coaching program, a low-ticket masterclass, a digital product, a done-for-you service, and they all have the potential to work. The question is, which of these do you feel fully behind? What are you willing to commit to with truth, belief and energetic congruence? That is where the money is. So if you have been sitting on an offer and you think you're supposed to sell it, if you've been twisting your business to fit someone else's playbook, if you've been obsessively asking what to sell to get that money fast. Today is your reminder that it's not about what sells fast, it is about what feels real, because alignment speeds things up more than any tactic ever will. Your energy is vital to any strategy and your aligned offer. That is where it all begins. I'll chat with you next week.
